NEPAL NEEDS US. NOW.

On 26 August 2026, entire communities in Rasuwa, Nepal, were devastated when a powerful flash flood tore through the Bhotekoshi River and surrounding communities.

In a matter of minutes, homes, roads, bridges and livelihoods were swept away.

As of 28 August, 469 lives have been lost, according to Nepal Police, with hundreds more still missing. Search and rescue teams continue working in dangerous conditions as families wait desperately for news of their loved ones.

Thousands of people have been left without homes, food, clothing or electricity. Many are stranded and sleeping in the open, with destroyed roads and bridges making it difficult for help to reach them.

Right now, families are facing the unimaginable.

They need food. Shelter. Clothing. Medicine. Basic necessities.

And they need to know that they have not been forgotten.

Together with trusted partners on the ground, we are working to get urgent assistance to families affected by the floods in Rasuwa District.
