This is one of our main projects in South Africa where 10 000 meals reach homes across Gauteng every month through our sustainable agriculture and livestock projects. These meals have different impacts in the different areas.
In Thembalihle, the meal packs go to community members who are unable to afford buying meat.

For the community of Mountain View and the children of the Al Mubarak Centre, the meal being provided at the madrassah is sometimes the only one they receive for the day

At the madrassah in Protea South, the meal prepared from the meat and veggies is important not only for the children but also for their families.

While in Poortjie, the children who attend the madrassah do not just eat the food they receive but many take the food home and share it amongst their family members.

For the girls of the Welverdien Orphanage and Madrassah, the meat and veggies are used in meals which nourish them and allow them to learn.
