Fatima Sookharia appointed as board director

Salaam Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Fatima Sookharia to its board of directors.

Mrs Sookharia served as the chief-operation-officer since May 2018 and after initially joining the organisation in 2017.

Driven by her passion to serve humanity she has represented SF both in South African humanitarian projects as well as internationally in places such as Mozambique, Turkey, Bangladesh and Chad.

The appointment to directorship level has received strong support online with hundreds of likes and several shares via social media.
