Cyclone Eloise has whipped through Mozambique, stripping towns of its already crippled infrastructure. Homes have been wrecked and thousands have once again, been displaced. All this havoc in a region still recovering from two devastating cyclones, Idai and Kenneth, which hit hard in 2019, killing hundreds and forcing thousands from their homes.

Just as people slowly try to piece their lives together, the tropical cyclone Eloise hit Mozambique’s Sofala coastal province on Saturday lashing severe winds of 160 km/h and heavy rains that have wrecked buildings, homes,  power supplies, ruined hactares of crops and left approximately 7000 people homeless.

Families are in urgent need of essentials.

Help repair broken lives.
